TND Timeline

The TEEN New Deal Timeline is a roadmap to advocate for the TEEN New Deal so that it can become a nationwide law by America’s 250th birthday in 2026.

Do The Write Thing of DC will be implementing a series of (4) in-person, youth town halls for the community to discuss the details of the TEEN New Deal during Spring/Summer of 2024. The final town hall in the series is tentatively scheduled to take place at the 53rd Annual Legislative Conference of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation in Washington, DC just two months before the 2024 Presidential election.

President Joseph Biden and Vice-President Kamala Harris are expected to attend the CBC’s 53rd Annual Legislative Conference, as they attended the two previous years. The final DTWT youth town hall will be an opportunity to deliver the idea of the TEEN New Deal directly to our government leadership right before the election!
